Rented this with my mom.
Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thorton. Hard to go wrong with them, and it mostly worked. But the premise of the movie is a bit contrived in two areas.
First, that they sleep over the night before. That doesn't make much sense. They wouldn't stay all night, with the strong likelyhood that they'd screw up. Instead, they should have just kidnapped the bank managers as they left in the morning. Same result with much less risk.
Also, the entire girl thing was a stretch. Once she was there the story made it work okay. But I didn't really like how she was introduced into the movie.
It just occurred to me, that the ending of this movie is essentially identical to the scheme in Die Hard. That shouldn't come as too much of a spoiler. I was able to spot what was going to happen several minutes in advance.
There's really not a lot to say about this movie, unfortunately. I guess it came across a little disjointed.
On my brother's Total Movie Value Scale, Rental. A fun little bank robbery romp. Fun characters.
