A friend just revealed a possible reason why people didn't like the high angle.

It looks like I'm not paying attention to you. I think that's why some people are put off by it. OTOH, I have another friend who says she likes the feeling that she's spying on me ;-)
I like the high angle better. It's different than what most people do. It gives me the opportunity to make silly labels. You get to see my poor seating posture. Sometimes you get to see the pets. And seeing things move around on the desk. I like all that variety compared to my plain face.
Maybe if I had supermodel looks the face shot might be more interesting. Also, my head sort of disappears into the stuff behind me.

03/MAY/02 During our hockey party I plugged the webcam into the laptop for awhile. Nothing very exciting caught on camera. The software I'm using only saves 100 images, which was only 25 mins at the rate I was posting them. So I didn't have a lot to choose from. I need to write a program to save off more of them.
