Keystone and Breckenridge

The flight there was at 7:30 am, so we had to leave the house at 5:00 am.  The only good part was that there was nobody at the airport at 5:00 am on a Sunday, so it took no time to get through security.  I think both Bruce and Christy got to meet the people with the rubber gloves.  Scott was on a different flight, but only a coupla gates away from ours, so we hung with him until our flight left.

On the interstate from Denver to Keystone, in Golden, a gasoline truck had overturned.   Our driver gave Greg directions for an alternate route from Boulder.   Apparently, it didn't take appreciably longer than the normal route.

The skiing conditions were Good Enough.  Not very cold, even at night.  Windy on only one day, and then only at the top of the mountain on one side.  It snowed a little on our last night.  We would have liked more fresh snow, but it wasn't too crusty on most of the mountain.

Since we arrived in the afternoon we got our skis and bought night skiing lift tickets:

	Christy's boots didn't fit very well.		Looks like Christy and Bruce.  Not sure if that's Jacob with them.

While we were there, some unit from the 10th Special Forces was training.  So we saw all these guys skiing around in jungle camouflage, which looked a little out of place on the slopes.  I never did get a really good picture of them:
